Dr Neo Peng Fu

Dr Neo is a Senior Lecturer at the National Institute of Education (Singapore) and Director of the Confucius Institute, at Nanyang Technological University.

As a historian by training, Dr Neo teaches and publishes in the fields of Chinese history and Singapore’s language-in-education policy (with special reference to the teaching and learning of Chinese) at NTU.

He has also served on the National Translation Committee (at MCI), Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (at MOE), and the executive council of the Singapore Society for Asian Studies.
